Whitney Wolfe, CEO of Bumble, Ties the Knot in Famed Amalfi Coast


Whitney Wolfe serves as the founder and CEO of Bumble, a well-known online dating application. Bumble is designed to assist people to get their life partners, and Whitney was able to find her match. According to Page Six, the couple first interacted three years ago on Valentine’s Day in Aspen. Afterwards, they got engaged in July 2016. On September 3, 2017, Whitney Wolfe wed Michael Herd, Texas oil heir, in a lavish ceremony at the Villa Treville in Positano along the Italian Amalfi Coast.

The couple is yet to announce their union publicly, but family and friends took to Instagram to capture the destination nuptials. The couple used the hashtag “#homeiswheretheherdis,” to play off the groom’s surname. The bride wore a breathtaking Oscar De La Renta gown for the wedding ceremony and a silky, cream-colored slip dress for the reception and evening party. The reception venue was covered by canopies of lemon trees, which complemented the lemon accents on the menus and dinner tables. The cake was a massive single-tier topped with other fruits like fresh strawberries.
